Diana Matheson Heads Speaker Roster for Changemakers Summit
SponsorsorshipX is thrilled to announce that Diana Matheson, founder and chief growth officer of the Northern Super League, will speak at the Changemakers Summit in Toronto from November 13 to 15, 2025.
Diana was a key source of inspiration as we developed the Changemakers theme for the summit in conjunction with the historic first-ever NSL Final weekend. Diana is the ultimate Changemaker as an international athlete, entrepreneur and impact maker. She represents an incredible combination of grit that translates on and off the pitch.
Summit attendees can look forward to a powerful pep talk from Diana, harnessing the power of sport, business, community, and collaboration to drive meaningful impact. Through her story, you'll discover how purpose and play intersect and how the values of teamwork, resilience, and inclusion can create ripple effects far beyond the field. This moment is designed to inspire, unite, and ignite the spirit of changemaking.
Diana Matheson is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist who was a member of Canada’s Women’s National Soccer Team from 2003-2021. During her career, Diana represented Canada over 200 times, played in four FIFA World Cups and three Olympic Games, and earned a bronze medal in both London 2012 and Rio 2016. Diana is perhaps best known for scoring the game-winning goal in the bronze medal against France in the London Olympic Games in 2012.
Following her playing career Diana earned an EMBA from the Smith School of Business and a UEFA Master for International Players, and co-founded the Northern Super League (NSL), Canada’s first and only women’s professional soccer league. The NSL kicked off in April, 2025.
