Golf Canada to Host the Clubhouse at SponsorshipX Changemakers Summit

A new kind of networking space, led by a sport ready to grow in new directions

Delegates attending the 2025 SponsorshipX Changemakers Summit will have a dedicated place to connect, refuel, and collaborate, thanks to Golf Canada, the event’s official Networking Changemaker.

As the host of the Golf Canada Clubhouse, Golf Canada is bringing a central experience to the Summit, a networking zone, dining area, and casual workspace. Open throughout the day on November 13 and 14, the Clubhouse will be the venue for honest conversations over coffee, meals, or quick working sessions. It’s designed to provide delegates with a place to land, reconnect with peers, or simply step away from the main stage for a productive pause.

This partnership also provides attendees with a glimpse into Golf Canada’s broader strategy. As the organization works to increase participation nationwide, it’s investing in new types of golf venues, exploring digital innovation, and rethinking who the game is for and how people access it.

“We’re focused on making golf more relevant and accessible for more Canadians,” said Tim McLaughlin, Chief Marketing Officer at Golf Canada. “Being part of the Changemakers Summit allows us to connect directly with the marketing and sponsorship community as we open the door to new ideas and partnerships.”

“The Golf Canada Clubhouse adds real value to the Summit,” said SponsorshipX Founder Mark Harrison. “It’s a space that supports networking, comfort, and collaboration, core to what makes SponsorshipX work.”

Golf Canada’s presence at the Changemakers Summit highlights a shift occurring across sports: traditional institutions are embracing new models, technologies, and approaches to build community on and off the field of play.
